Integrations

Emet is a static app, which is mostly a virtue, but a couple of things can’t be done from a browser alone: exchanging OAuth codes for tokens needs a secret that mustn’t ship to the client. So the repository includes a handful of tiny Cloudflare Pages Functions under functions/api/ that do exactly that and nothing else. These two pages cover the services that need them.

  • GitHub App is how people sign in. You’ll set this up once per deployment, and it’s required unless you’re happy for everyone to paste in a personal access token.
  • Google Search Console shows real search traffic for the page you’re editing, inside the SEO panel. It’s optional.

Both are configured through environment variables on the Pages project (see Environment variables) and, for Search Console, a block in admin/site.yaml.

AI providers are also an integration of sorts, but they talk to their APIs directly from the browser with your key and need nothing server-side. They have their own section under AI features.
